Fully automatic response to text messages
Ask-John provides a fully automatic response system to incoming text questions. People can send in SMS keywords or questions containing key words: the system will automatically send the response which matches the key word. In technical terms, it is an SMS based SQL server that can work with many tables and queries within a database.

Application Description
What we supply: all software and GSM modem. What you require: PC and SIM card. For details of hardware requirements see Computer Specification. The application has an easy to use interface through which you can define ‘default’ queries and their responses. Advanced users can construct other queries in a single message. If any query produces several answers each answer is sent as a separate message. You can define the maximum number of responses allowed to prevent users being swamped with messages.
When a trigger word or phrase is received, the system looks in the database for the matching reply and sends it to the originating mobile. All unmatched words will receive a reply that you have pre-defined, and will be added to a form that you can use to generate a manual reply later. The same form allows you to add these unmatched words and their replies to the main database so that you don't have to handle them manually again.
