Autopage gives pharmaceutical sales representatives an
information edge
The Danish-based international pharmaceutical organisation Lundbeck, which specialises in psychiatry and neurology, operates a large nationwide field force in the UK and installed an Autopage for Windows system five years ago.
Problem
Lundbeck needs to send important messages to its field representatives around the country, ranging from vital updates on current legislation, changes to National Institute of Clinical Excellence guidelines and information on competitors.
Solution
Autopage provided Lundbeck with the software that gives their own system the ability to send SMS and pager messages as well as the hardware to connect to the GSM network.
The software enables the UK operation to send messages from computers to mobile phones and pagers, and to receive replies and delivery reports, while the File Importer provides an interface between third party applications and the system and allows the sending and receiving of complex text information between back office dispatch and sales systems.
The ability to send important messages to field staff quickly and a reliable after sales service were important factors in Lundbeck choosing Autopage.
